                               How it Works

A small software program is installed on each of your systems.  This program
runs as a service and requires very little in the way of system resources.  It
makes it possible for  your systems to communicate over the internet to the
Guardian Angels Server at our location. Once the communications link has
been established all of the following activities will be performed on each of
your systems:
 

                Monitor Windows Event Log for attempted intrusions (hackers),
                virus attacks, or other abnormalitites, and, in most cases, take
                the appropriate corrective action.

                Protect against spyware and adware.

                Monitor and report any configuration changes to systems.

                Scan systems for virus frequently.

                Update virus definition database as needed.

                Report and correct connectivity problems.

                Report and correct printing problems.

                Report system resource problems.

                Preventive Maintenance
                        Periodically run Scandisk, checking for disk errors
                        Cleanup Scandisk (chkdsk) Files
                        Cleanup temporary files.
                        Disk defragmentation for better performance
                        Monitor disk capacity and report when critical
                        Synchronize system clock

                Asset monitoring & reporting - (e.g. software licenses, software
                and hardware inventory)

                 Manage Microsoft updates (Windows critical updates etc.).
